I was 10 when this came out and I distinctly remember my mum shouting at me and my brother because we were jumping round the living room shouting 'ON A ROPE ON A ROPE GOT ME HANGING ME ON A ROPE'. Good times.

I was also about 10 when this came out and it was the coolest song I'd ever heard.

No, this is mimed and the vocals are live. Moreover, there have been many live performances on TOTP. Stop trying to sound clever.

Literally every performance by a band appearing on TOTP in the mid to late 90s HAD to be live. Stop talking such utter bollocks.

Loved these guys, BUT he is not a very good singer live sadly. Always felt if they had, had a better singer they could have exploded because they had great tunes such as this.

hers not the best singer but fuck singers, Mariah carey is a good singer and shes one of the worst things to happen to music, speedo is absolutely the best frontman of any band of that era up to the present day. speedo forever
