This launch was delayed due to weather from May 15 and is rescheduled to launch May 16, 8:03 pm. The Visitor Complex remains open later until launch window closes.
Mission
United Launch Alliance (ULA) launches the Delta IV rocket to deploy GPS satellites. This is ULA’s fifth launch of 2014 and 82nd overall. The satellites being launched provide navigational assistance for operations on land, sea and air. The satellites also support civilian users around the world with GPS for information like highly accurate time, location and velocity.
