It's a morbid curiosity to see what really happened. I would like to see, not to witness his traumatic injury, but to see just how the weapon failed. Even if the footage was slightly less blurred as to just show the weapon would be enough to satisfy my curiosity. For me, it's the interest in how mangled the launcher is since we can only hear the tube hitting the ground but nothing else. Was it a major over pressure event that just caused a massive shock wave resulting in the injury, or did the tube itself actually detonate and shrapnel is what did the damage. I'm guessing he was knocked unconscious immediately from the concussion - I hope at least - but we have no clue so our curiosity gets the best of us and goes wild. I've seen so many takes on what happened and people calling them all kinds of names for this, but it's not like they expected tools that small children use every day without injury/failure to suddenly and catastrophically explode in their face. I mean hell, what are the chances that they managed to catch something like this on film? How many cases of things just like this happen with no evidence to look at beyond the aftermath? To not only experience something like this, but to survive, and have it on camera... I would sure as hell be happy just to come out of this alive, and after that I would be itching to watch the footage myself in Adam's shoes to see what the hell happened. As with Kentucky, I will be curious to see the extent of his injuries, again not because I want to see someone be injured so badly, but that little morbid curiosity voice in the back of my head keeps calling. @@AntcPanda

@kuessebrama
@kuessebrama 10 ай бұрын
@@Nihil1265 this was not because of the propelant but the rpg was damaged in some way. Yeah it can be but i think 90% was the rpg. To overload weapons with blackpowder is pretty hard, if they are open on both ends this will not happen, exept you take extreme more then the actual load. But yeah maybe the rocket was not build as well and failed the possibility is there, but other then that weapons are never 100% safe, there is fire, explosions and extrem high pressures and the only thing you can do is wear protection, inspect your weapons regular and look at what ammo you are using if you buy self loaded ammo oder load by your self, other then that you cannot do anything, but the chances of a catastrophic failure are pretty slim if you inspect your weapons and are carefull if it comes to ammo.

@DeskPop Not trying to be a huge jerk or anything, but you are CHOOSING to use that range. No one is forcing you. First of all, on an active range, NO ONE should be past the shooting line when other people are present, and ESPECIALLY so when people are ACTIVELY SHOOTING. You are just asking to be shot. Your priority is obviously NOT your main concern. Getting views are. You really should reconsider your choices and look for some private property that you can use with permission, find another range. If you MUST use the range you are currently using and actively being shot at, you really need to consider talking to the owner of the range and see if you could get some reserved time set aside, or get there at a better time. As a responsible gun owner, it is COMPLETELY irresponsible to put yourself in that position. I say this out of genuine concern for you and your safety. Your life is not worth the few thousand views on KZbin. If you DID get shot, THAT would be your biggest video, and, more than likely, what you'll be remembered for. Do you really want to be remembered as the idiot KZbinr who got shot for BEING DOWN RANGE AT AN ACTIVE RANGE? You would be remembered as a massive idiot, who, many will more than likely believe, deserved it. Think about your family, friends, and your future man. It just isn't worth it. Besides, if you DID get shot, how would you be able to make more videos? I'm sorry for the attitude that probably came across in my comment, but it's more of, "Dude are you freaking kidding me?" Than actual anger. I'm not angry, just disappointed 😂 Stay safe, man. Be better. You owe it to yourself.

@@My_Name_Is_Mud. after over a year of doing this we’ve attempted many other options and every other range/private property has fallen through. Getting a bigger following has opened the door to conversations about using private land/private ranges but not enough to get us in yet. Trust me, I’ve exhausted myself searching for an area to shoot that’s safer, you just can control who shows up on any given day to public land and unfortunately for us that means having rounds fly at or past us from idiots who show up and don’t understand how guns work (or just don’t care) It’s not an “active range” it’s public land that people shoot on. There’s no RO, there’s not a “time slot” it’s straight up roll the dice and hope no one rolls in after you that’s drunk/irresponsible. I can assure you we’re not desperate to be there when rounds fly over our heads; but we don’t have the luxury of “coming back” or multiple days to film with many of our videos. It’s film that day or don’t get any content- and yes, the views are worth the risk considering this is the only thing that will get us OUT of this state and to our own safer training environment.

If there is a possibility of several things going wrong, the one that will cause the most damage will be the one to go wrong. Corollary: If there is a worse time for something to go wrong, it will happen then. If anything simply cannot go wrong, it will anyway. If you perceive that there are four possible ways in which a procedure can go wrong, and circumvent these, then a fifth way, unprepared for, will promptly develop. Left to themselves, things tend to go from bad to worse. If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something. Nature always sides with the hidden flaw. Mother nature is a bitch. It is impossible to make anything foolproof because fools are so ingenious. Whenever you set out to do something, something else must be done first. I think "pipe bomb" refers to a completely enclosed container. I assume a rocket failure suffers from something like uncontrolled burning (a rapid ignition of a large quantity of fuel, which causes an over-pressure explosion). I assume that's most likely to happen with improperly made fuel, or maybe next most likely improper storage/handling/age. Or simply mistakes when making it. BPS Space has some videos which cover solid fuel vulnerabilities - but idk if that's what was used in this incident - some random comment mentioned gunpowder, another mentioned it may have been made by some third party or modified or something. Probably not worth speculating about in the low quality of the comments section. I think there's a lot for a layman to learn from the uncensored footage. I made another comment explaining why I thought that way. I hope they make some videos covering the post-incident analysis, both regarding the equipment failure, and the human response. It seems like the most responsible thing to do.

Watched your video posted today. It was so good to see Adam back, mostly intact. Thankfully, the failure did not happen when you fired the RP7, sans any real protection at the 4:30ish mark. Even though Adam got the snot knocked out of him, God was definitely looking out for both of you. Could have been much worse. Welcome back Adam!

Whelp, that was a caught off guard moment. Most definitely glad Adam that you survived and are on the mend, both physcially but also importantly the mental aspect of healing as well. May you stay strong and come back stronger than before. Don't hesitate to lean on those closest to you for support. Also importantly is everyone else involved can heal mentally and emotionally as well. It just goes to show that no matter how much one can properly prepare and ensure that all safety procedures are followed, that things can and will still go sideways in a hurry. Best wishes to you all on the channel and your families too.

Holy shit, this is horrible. I am so sorry to hear that and wish Adam all the best. It is so sad to see this happen to someone so careful about this and trying to supply the best cutting edge content. I am so happy to hear that he has survived this horrific incident and am looking foward to hearing from him again.

Wow, that was surreal. I didn't think much when the exclaimer came up, but when the explosion happened and it set in that something serious had occurred, I felt a sinking in my chest. I've been watching you guys for a while now, and it's awful to see this happen to such a good man. I wish Adam a speedy recovery. Hopefully, as others have pointed out, he can bond with Scott from Kentucky Ballistics over the experience.

I really do appreciate how you guys did cover the accident happening. This will remind everyone that this isn't just about funs and giggles and cool images. Others will hopefully think twice before trying some risky thing, because things can drastically change from moment to another. I hope that everyone involved will find a way to deal with what has happened.

I founded your channel this year and have shared it with all my friends and family. You guys have continually raised the bar on making the highest quality and informative content and we all appreciate the effort you make. I'm truly saddened that this (seemingly malfunction) happened to you Adam, obviously no one deserves it but it hurts even more that it happened to such a great ambassador and enthusiastic individual. In mentioning how Adam is always safety-conscious, it might have been the difference between a really shitty outcome and an outcome that was lethal. I'm so relieved to hear that it hasn't dampened your spirit and I eagerly await the story behind the tragedy. In many ways this parallels Scott's incident with the SLAP rounds in the .50, thankfully both parties weren't injured fatally and we get to continue to enjoy them and their passion for years to come. Please take all the time you need and I'm hoping for you to make a full recovery. I just saw the update post and you look great man! Keep up the good work and we can wait as long as you need to get your feet back under you!

I was waiting for this videos since i am very fan of RPG-7. Never thought how dangerous a miss fire could be. And most impressive is that you still release the video and you were very transparent about this accident. This demonstrates how professional you are. I wish the best recovery to Adam. And I am looking forward for more vídeos from both of you!

Wasnt a misfire, they used a rejunk reactivated cut tube instead of being smart about it.
@WarlordEnthusiast
@WarlordEnthusiast 10 ай бұрын
@@limoduhLmO The tube has very little to do with it, they already fired inert rounds out of it without issue. The problem is the round, despite how simple the RPG is, its rounds do have safety mechanisms to stop them from detonating before they've travelled a safe distance. Either the safety mechanism was missing, malfunctioned (Very rare on an RPG, its made to be idiot proof) or the round itself wasn't machined properly. Its possible the propellant was also incorrect, it could have been a faster burning powder or wasn't compressed into a pellet properly so instead of burning slowly, it all burned at once causing a deflagration that caused the tube to explode and the round to detonate.

@@scatty.Pacquiao firing a rocket launcher the way it is supposed to does not ring alarm bells to me. A malfunction can happen anytime, even with a normal firearm. The only problem is that these malfunctions tend to be it bit more destructive.

@@scatty.Pacquiao And you could not make stupid comments. But I wouldn't expect anything else from someone who thinks a rocket launcher and grenade launcher are the same thing. And if your're going to come back with, RPG stands for Rocket Propelled Grenade, you're wrong. For one thing, Russians didn't make a habit of giving their weapons English names when RPGs were invented. And there were Ruchnaya Protivotankovaya Granatas at least as early as 1940 that didn't have rockets. They were thrown by hand. The rocket powered RPG-2 didn't come out until 14 years later. Actual grenade launchers are like guns that shoot grenades instead of bullets. They're not rockets.
