Best part about the pacifist system is that I go back to Flakes videos and can appreciate tiny details that I didn't before. Like matching height of the ball, corner drag back etc.
@AirChargedGamingАй бұрын
Really love hearing that, Flakes is an absolute master, and a pleasure to watch!
@rawreal477Ай бұрын
Aye bro, that corner drag back really helps btw. Before I’d try to stay in the pocket knowing I’m too deep on enemy side but not knowing what else to do, especially after a demo but no clear angle now regardless I just take it back to my corner n basically cradle until they challenge me n boop, right over em or setting up some offense. Actually was doing it unconsciously already but didn’t notice how well it works, but now it’s my go to. I also noticed that makes them respect my corner n they stop tryna dive in on me after scoring on em once or twice when it happens then that allows me space to set up that killer hook! Preciate you. It’s crazy how those two things play into each other so well.
@AirChargedGamingАй бұрын
Thank you for that. Absolutely once you start focusing on that and make it your go to, then you can work from there because you can then create an offensive system that is high percentage and low risk which is exactly what we are after :D
@mzako7448Ай бұрын
I'd love to see a video where you team up with someone 2v2 and play the pacifist system as intended.

I am just G2 in 1s and 2s but I notice that people make a LOT more mistakes when you demo them because they are getting so angry - quite funny actually.

Hahah yup, get the emotion out of them and then you can get after it :D

Hope you can find some mates team up and do a series of 2s and 3s with every player following the system, that would be something.

Will 100% be doing this with a low ranked player soon to talk through the game from start to finish (AKA GC)
@rlwynnharmonic6518Ай бұрын
Sorry, this isn't a comment about this video specifically, but: I'm extremely mechanical, but I've been implementing this playstyle in the past few weeks to try to make better habits without using mechanics for the most part. (This is 2v2) In one of your videos, you talked about how 70% perfection is much better than doing 90% really well and having the 10% mistakes cost the goals every time. I'm definitely in that second category, and so my question is how do I make my mistakes less costly or: how do I remove the costly mistakes? I mean the answer is practice right? But do you have any other advice?
@AirChargedGamingАй бұрын
Appreciate the question. Very difficult without knowing the mistake, but if you are making some mistakes and they are critical errors, then I would go through and find out if there is any trend. Like in the last 10 seconds are you diving in etc. Once you find it then you can focus on it and be mindful. The other thing I would recommend is actually playing less as far as ranked matches, so that you are able to fully concentrate, and then if you have spare time, relax and work on some fundamental offense in free play :)

Can’t believe you threw away the Brazil in game 1 😭
@cidwiththreeeyesАй бұрын
👿 I play 1’s now too for the same reason. How about some replay analysis of our 3s/2s solo queue pains while you take a break from your own?
@AirChargedGamingАй бұрын
Love that idea, I will certainly be doing some replay analysis soon :D
@magirehedge7585Ай бұрын
what do you mainly practice in freeplay? When I play like this I find that I end up conceding a lot of possession, especially on defense despite the fact that I take soft touches and don't (for the most part) do dumb stuff
@AirChargedGamingАй бұрын
When I am training to play properly I will do lateral dribbles, bounce dribble power shots, air dribbles from the carry. When I am messing around waiting for a game, I will work on some flip resets or aerial plays :)
@thaddeus1519Ай бұрын
We'd really appreciate it if you get the Bakis mod to see peoples 2s ranks when playing 1 for the series. Wanna know who you are thrashing ya know.

I'm not a fan of bakkes as I find it lags me a bit, but I can give it a go! :)

I was kinda excited when you said you gave up on 2s. I hoped you'd do a series on threes. 😅
@AirChargedGamingАй бұрын
I did one before, but honestly, its similar to 2s, the quality has dropped significantly, and its even worse in 3s :D
@Boodain1Ай бұрын
@AirChargedGaming OMG you really sound depressed about it. I can't say you're wrong about the quality though. A video I'd love to watch by you is how to position in 3s regardless of the craziness. I'm currently champ 2 pushing on C3 and when they're doing something bonkers I'm always wondering if I could position more optimally. Always love your videos. I'm going to check if I'm subscribed. If not I'm going to do it now as my way to say thank you.
@AirChargedGamingАй бұрын
@@Boodain1 LOL really depressed is a bit of an overstatement xD. But yeah I am not happy about it, I genuinely don't see the point of it. I remember my first time playing rec basketball as opposed to pro-ball. I lasted 1 session because nobody understood how to play so it was a waste of time. Hopefully things change within the game :)
@Boodain1Ай бұрын
@AirChargedGaming it will if we all keep promoting a better, more fun way
@RocketLeaguesApartАй бұрын
Wait am I missing something? What’s the correlation between internet and demos?
@AirChargedGamingАй бұрын
Bufferbloat heavily effects things like demos, as you will smash into the side of a player and for some reason you blow up. The better the bufferbloat, the more accurate that what you see is what is happening. Therefore it makes demos easier :)

bruh howd you get chat perm banned ive said some horrible things in the past 5 years and have never gotten a perm ban lmaoooo
@AirChargedGamingАй бұрын
Haha, I think I'm the only perm chat banned player in the game. Long story, I got banned for unsportsmanlike conduct for 24 hours after demoing in solo queue, in games my team was winning. So I went on the RL discord and complained. Then it ended it me and Devin having a disagreement about the game and the way its moderated and I questioned his logic, which he then muted me in the RL discord. When the ban was lifted I was permanently chat banned with it, madness. I learnt never call programmers illogical, it triggers them :D

@AirChargedGamingАй бұрын
@@octanewhale7542 exactly my thoughts too, the whole lobby got mad, even my team that was winning. So everyone reported me for unsportsmanlike conduct, this is when the solo standard still existed and the report system just came in and wasn't fully tested. I have asked them to lift it like 3 years ago, but they won't 🤣
