Pick 1 light on the ball and turn it into a booster. When the ball hits a boost panel, it picks up the boost and immediately uses it until it's gone. Since the ball rolls it should make for some interesting flight paths. You could also adjust the strength of the booster. It would be great to see the ball hit a boost panel and take off like a rocket.

Maybe a further variant to the idea: have an invisible trace of the field wall, ceiling and floor 1 ball size away from the original wall floor and ceiling. I feel that could give some crazy shots rolling across the backwall into the goal!

now make it very close to the floor without touching, and see the confusion arise. make the top barrier taller, like next to the roof but not touching it. basically a map where the ball doesn't touch the walls but goes closest to it.

I was thinking the same thing. Make it a normal map, but the border dimensions are just slightly smaller. That would throw off EVERYONE because their reads would always be just slightly off.

Custom map idea for this game mode Floor is lava (demos you), goal is a circle slightly bigger than the ball itself. Maybe a circle or some different shaped field. I don't know how spawns would work if the floor kills you though (maybe you start in a different place next to the field or above it or something like the double layer net map). I don't know how playable that would be, but trying to play this mode fully flying sounds fun.

Rock league, but opposites attract. When the ball turns blue, orange can hit it but blue becomes like a wall they can't put power and it bounces off of them (has a chance to make the car explode)
