Rocket league with "changing on the fly" like hockey. One player on each team is subbed out on the "bench." 200 boost, no boost pads, boost fast recharges when you're subbed out. When an active player enters the "bench" he switches places with the subed out player. Could make for some interesting stragegies.

I've played a form of this with my friends. We call it "1v1 Relay". Everyone waits in their own goal until they're subbed into the 1v1. Sometimes we play with a random timer set up that determines substitutions. When the timer goes off, both players have to leave the ball immediately and retreat to their own net. They're replaced by a sub only when they make it across the goal line. Other times we've disabled goal reset and you MUST sub out when the ball is scored or at any random time you want. It creates some chaos for sure. Do you score an easy goal and end up really far from your goal to sub and basically allow a free goal the other way? Do you use all your boost getting back to net and get stuck with none the next time you're subbed in? Definitely a fun game mode that you can set up in a regular private match. I'm sure Leth could make a really awesome set up for it as a custom map though.

Idea: Finite infinite map. instead of bouncing off the walls/backboard/ceiling the ball re-enters the field from the opposite side with the same velocity. The floor should probably remain solid so that plays can actually develop. Alternatively, the floor could be the same at the other surfaces, 0 gravity could be added, and the cars could also go through walls like the ball.
