Honestly bro it doesn’t matter, you are crazy good if you reach gc to begin with. No need to climb anything higher unless ur looking to be a pro or something. Being gc2 is nice sure but not necessary tbh

Basically just more consistency and faster decision-making. Playing 1s helped me alot with that and I didn't play many 1s just 2-4 games for warmup before my 2s games

Game Sense. Mechanics. Consistency. Practice. Skill. Rotations. Ball control. Air Control. Ground Control. Positive Attitude. Good Gaming chair, Best Controller/ setup you can afford - and I recommend wired because it has a faster reading time, helps with input speeds, and your gameplay is not effected by your battery getting low. Speaking of setup, probably a PC- you can “customize” much more… and usually achieve the smoothest Rocket League Gameplay experience. Excellent WiFi… you want to feel like Freeplay mode, not Heavy Gravity mode. Additionally make sure the WiFi is plugged into your system. Find the perfect settings (for you) -for both your system, Monitor, and Rocket league Settings. Use Bakkes Mod download workshop maps (pc), does not hurt to Practice, and switch up things. Additionally regular bakkes mod has cool information, and customization for your game, not online though. Game understanding - (such as the amount of boost pads, how much they fill… just taking a look back at how the game works) - then you can better Grasp the game, and concepts. play league of shadow Legends. (Just kidding) That’s quite a few, should help you Get to GC. Remember the more time you take to Learn… the better you become as a player, if you can apply what you have Learned. Be hungry for information… and go crush those online Games with good sportsmanship!!

For a game like rocket league it’s not too big of a deal but for shooters it’s a big help. On rl just makes it easier to see their car from farther away. I can’t go back to 1080 now tho it looks blurry to me lol

ive been "stuck" in gc since 2020. sounds like youre experiencing the same thing i am. you cant play enough to rank up so you just play enough to keep up with your own ranks improvement. if you want to rank up you gotta play every day for multiple hours. its about consistency more than anything. if youre already doing that then grinding 1v1s is what will help you improve the fastest along with watching your own replays occasionally to see your mistakes
