That guy in the second game was a weirdo. Might I suggest that when you go for corner boost on kickoffs and in general turn back towards your net instead of upfield. It will help you to not get scored on on kickoffs as much because you will be more ready to save the ball if it goes past your teammate towards your net.

Between 2:30-3:30 you picked up only two small boost pads, and went for the far away big boosts instead. Most of the time you wont be needing 100% boost, so u can just cruise along the small pads and by doing so stay more active in the game.
