Welcome to another episode of Scrap Mechanic Multiplayer Monday! Today we are building sleds using the drills! Drills in Scrap Mechanic have very low friction so they slide across the ground very easily like a sled on the snow. We are allowed 2 thrusters to control our sleds with and first to cross the finish line wins!

Alternating perspectives or split screen on the race itself would be nice, to see the goofs and highlights of each racer. I'm not saying only one person posts a video, just that every person includes clips from each other's perspectives during the race itself. Wouldn't have to do the multi POV for a MM where you take turns, but for races or games where everyone plays at the same time, it would be awesome.

Scrapman said he has his keys rebound so he can just use 4 keys in the same shape as wasd on the right side of the keyboard to control that flyer. That's why he says when people "use his controls" on flying creations he can fly them really easily.

Co-op Survival Race - Two teams of two compete to make it from the crashed ship to the end of the road in a cooperatively made vehicle. The twist: one person on each team will switch teams at the beginning of the race, and are incentivized to sabotage the vehicle they helped work on.

For a multiplayer Monday you should do a course maker. Where each person gets a portion of the course to add any traps, blocks, or just anything in general. Then build vehicles to then go through the course you guys have built.

Nuke race: everybody has to carry a loose nuke. Nuke airplanes bombming: 2vs2 where there are two (or one big) airplanes vs two turrets (planes doesn't know the place where they are and can be separated from each other). Airplanes carry at least one nuke and the have to destroy the turrets before they gets shooted and eventually explode (better protection for the bomb could be a better idea). No gatling style AA guns, so sinc correctly the spudguns

How about a farm bot challenge when you have to build a vehicle. And there are three categories to win in: Looks: The other people judge from a rating out of ten about your car to see which one looks that mast like a farm bot and then add up all the ratings and the highest number wins. Race: This is just your normal race Base Destroying: There will be a basic base made out of completely cardboard/other breakable blocks and the car that you build can have a maximum of one spud gun and two saw blades. The fastest to completely destroy the base wins. And to decide the final winner, for each challenge, first place gets you 3 points, second gets you 2 points, third gets you 1 point and last gets you nothing. So after all the events, the person with the highest score wins. pls like so Scrapman can see this

I'd love to see a triathlon style race - three vehicles -- the first section is over water (jets as propulsion), one on land (wheels and engine), and the final stint with walkers (no wheels or jets).

Suppose one future Multiplayer Monday to do is non-friction Sumo. Build a huge platform above the ground and using the drills and thrusters, have to push each other off the platform. No weapons (like spud guns, piston pushers and such) just skill and force.

SM do for the next Multiplayer monday a really really drifty driftcourse of which you use the sawblades to push down to the ground and use them as drift wheels when you drift. When you stop drifting you can press a switch to raise the sawblades and then use normal wheels to drive to the next destination, but each destination has its own challenge to it, For example the first challenge will be a regular non tight drift, 2. Challenge will be a tighter drift 3. a even tighter one 4. you have to do a 180 5. you have to do a 360 6. you have to do a series of normal to tight drifts in combination with a 180 to do it backwards again but with a different exit or just the finish line

Day 5 of the Scrapman baking show Today we will learn how to make a easy chocolate soufflé Ingredients for 1 serving ½ cup chocolate hazelnut spread 2 eggs Preparation Preheat the oven to 375˚F (190˚C). Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites and place into two bowls. Mix the chocolate hazelnut spread into the bowl with the egg yolks. In the second bowl, whisk 2 egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold ⅓ of the whipped egg whites into the chocolate/egg yolk mixture until fully incorporated. Add the remaining egg whites to the mixture and fold gently, but thoroughly, until the mixture is smooth. Pour the mixture into a greased ramekin. make a race where you have 2-1 hours in a new survival mode world to find supplys, buld the craftbot and find fuel. at the end of the time evryone meets up at spawn and bulds a car with the collected recourse then evryone races from the ship to the trader (if you don't know where the trader is you'll have to find it during the race) first person to open the trade menu wins.

I think that it may have been much easier if they had two independently controlled thrusters, one on the front and one on the back, and make them able to rotate 360 degrees, that way if you face them out opposite sides you can rotate or face them out the same side to strafe.

The reason going backwards works is the thrusters are pulling and yanking the vehicle instead of pushing and drifting

It works better in reverse due to the drag keeping it under control - the rocket paradox doesn't really apply to things under the effect of friction

I have a feeling a mix between drill and regular aka press a button and the drills extend down making it easier to drift, if thats what you want, and then oress the button again and it goes back to regular wheels
