"I think my dad just made it, and let me color it," true pinewood derby spirit and experience. My dad my three derby cars. I made one in woodshop in middle school with a CO2 canister, I was the 2ns fastest by less than an inch, but the 1st place guy hit the stopper first, moving it away from mine so it just hit a brick wall and shattered. Both a sad and hilarious day

Years ago I did a pinewood with a C rocket motor in the back, made a wing and all kinds of aerodynamics for it, was not used for competition it was just a fun project for me and my nephew, we would run it down the street and did multiple runs to get the aerodynamics down for it. I don't have it anymore but we did a 2.0 version of it that has not been tested yet and unlike the one in the video, our rocket was placed inside the tail of the car.

You gotta add wings and place an engine on each wing. Make a singe fuse and give it a track to keep straight and gain speed. We made one fly at camp once. Took a week of 13 scouts making different wings and engine types types weight distributions to get it to actually take flight and not instantly go out of control

Will the jet cut with out the grit added to the water? Im wondering if it still cut's but takes 20% or 40% longer you may save money in water cost because you can reuse whats in the tank after you filter it, you will save what ever the grit cost and maybe save on bit's because they may last a lot longer just running clean water. I know a pressure washer is not the same but I can clean my siding and the walk way and the floor in the shop and I kill weed's with it and even strip paint some time so im using 1000psi and can do all that so your using 60 times that psi so it may cut ?? You can do a video compare cutting wood and other things as you work up to metals ( this is with clean water and this is with grit ).... You may be able to resurface aluminum rim's or winter rusty rims if you just use clean water to blast dirt and rust away and get a side job going.

... if you're using a guide wire at all, why not use a blank angle grinder to spool it up and pull the car through? The rocket already messed up your form, so just leave the end of the track open and whip the car around. I'm sure you have a reusable grinder as opposed to a single-use engine (what non-rocketeers call a rocket)

I have them. Let me tell you about them. The ads don't lie! They are very good. At first they sound a bit overdone on the midrange, (To me, anyway) but just adjust your EQ and lower the mid levels a bit. Then they sound fantastic. Highs and lows are excellent! I use AIMP, a music player for Windows & android and I can fine tune the audio levels and effects perfectly. So no issues with sound once you adjust. Of course every audio device is different. Fine adjustments are just necessary. I use them on both my phone and computer. They last more than long enough to watch a couple of movies of average duration. The case is a plastic clam-shell case with a metallic finish and a satin feel to it. A bit fiddly to open, but that's a tiny issue. The buds snap into their ports magnetically, so you cant get them in the wrong way 'round. The whole case is smooth and fits right into a front pocket or a purse easily. If you are prone to dropping things in the grass, like I am, I'd go with the red ones. Overall they are very well made, don't feel cheap, don't sound cheap, and work like a charm. Plenty loud enough to block out a V-twin Husqvarna ZTR mower, and give you a bit of a ringing in the ears if you crank 'em up. Bluetooth does have a tendency to restrict volume levels to avoid distorting the RF signal, so if extreme volume is your game, stay wired and go with skullcandy. Keep in mind that they are earbuds, not studio grade Sennheisers. I hope that helps you.
