Rocket Racing Custom Maps are HERE...

If I had a nickel for every comment about how Rocket Racing has custom map support before RL, I'd be able to retire 😂 UEFN is very established and this was very easy to do since UE5 has been in development for a long time. RL being UE3 puts the game in a VERY tough spot, I know they want to update the game to UE5 but it is years and years of development to get it there

Could they make rocket league 2 and put that on UE5 ? And if they can why don’t they ? We are hurting big time watching our game die while rl racing gets promoted and big updates. Epic has done nothing but take what little we did have and crush it. And then communication with this community is 0. That tells us they don’t care about us the players or the game.

for real though. they have so many choices to update the game, but they choose not to update it at all. except for the select few that counts some grass and a new pass an update. i just wish they kept this game alive

@@saucy91they’ve addressed this before the physics works different in UE5 and when trying to remake RL B in UE5 it doesn’t feel the same and for them to release it that way would be extremely jarring to RL players.

@@ImmanuelWoodworking It is mainly cause of how Rocket League is, Epic games coded and made Rocket Racing in Unreal Engine 5 while Psyonix coded and made Rocket League on Unreal Engine 3. Unreal Engine 3 came out in 2006 which is a 18 YEAR OLD game engine. Finding developers and ways to update the game with that old of software is really really hard. That is why everyone was so hyped if Rocket League was to go to Unreal Engine 5

Hey leth did you know there's a bug with the finish line rift in the new rocket racing custom maps where if there is a checkpoint right after the finish line and the checkpoint is green if you drive into the finish it will count as a lap

Tip for the first map, you could/can use air roll to help with the landings or with that first few boost pads, as in to easily get them or to help with "recovering", and at the end if you pull your turning joystick dow at the end you'll get further than just using the thrusters. Hope this helps.

27:00 That track is called Superbell Subway and is straight out of Mario Kart 8. The original also looks and functions way better. The funny part is that since this is a straight-up stolen design, the only job of the mapmaker is to recreate it in a way that works. And they failed spectacularly.
