I agree with you Leth, I like this mode more. The short mini runs enable exploration: experimenting with new shortcuts and messing around with flip mechanics don't carry the weight of throwing an entire race. Speed Run doesn't seem to have the player base's attention though. I think the mode could have a better victory screen, and maybe some cool sounds / visuals to make it clearer when you PR, take the top spot in the lobby, or take back the top spot. Currently it just tells you if you got a seasons best? Seems like they're leaving a lot of dopamine off of the table.

Tbh Dusted is a great map that has many variations and unique gameplay instead of drifting, finding the quickest boost paths. Good variety from some of the other maps

On the first map, you can cut the second checkpoint super sharp if you can get above the rock. It's semi consistent but super fast.

leth..... you dont have to make an excuse every time someone does anything slightly better than you. pls for the love of god man. literally every time. I get being competitive, but it comes off as your pride being hurt bc someone else videogamed harder than you (for .0412% of the video). imagine how good they feel in that moment finally beating you after countless losses, and instead of congratulating them you say "I coulda done this or that and beat you easily". bet that feels awesome to hear.. its not just this video. every single one. you are on average much better of a player than the people you play with. yet anytime any of them do something better than you it's excuses and not encouragement. have you not noticed this???

Man I played it and it was fun. When you flip over you just needa boost till you get to the wall and it’ll automatically flip your car back over. I think I’m the only person who figured that out because I always had to go bump my teammates when they got stuck lol it was fun though. They should’ve kept that mode in the game.
