The last flight took off literally "like a bullet."

F44 is such a fantastic motor. So much thrust in such a small package

What a perfect day for launching the highfliers!! Why not a G? It's still mid-power range :).

Great stuff. Still need to finish my Doorknob kit with the upgraded ply fins from Bad Boy Rocketry. Finishing the BBR upgraded Super Vega now and adding spring loaded pods using my old instructions from the Q-Modelling kit and some springs from Tacoma Screw.

@@lifesabrick5104 That Doorknob will be SWEET with those upgrades. Anything BBR is excellent… I also have a BBR Super Vega that I’ve not finished. Such a beautiful model!

Really enjoy your channel! Also a fan of model rockets 321. Got meet Keith when I purchased a little joe II from him. I've been forced into retirement by cancer and Rocketry is helping me stay sane. I can build on the couch sort of thing. Would you be open to letting me attend one of your launches? Thx - Larry

It has been a long time since I've launched a rocket. Kids have grown up and moved on. One thing I immediately noticed is how different those Engines look. They aren't simply in a cardboard tube any more ? They look far more technical and expensive ?
@mobrockets29 күн бұрын
@@SnowTiger45 The cardboard tubed black powder motors are alive and well, still sold by Estes. The motors in this video are indeed very different! Plastic housing of composite materials similar to the solid rocket motor fuel used on the Space Shuttle! Sold by Aerotech. Lots more boost power and more durable. And yes, more $. An Estes F motor produces a nice, realistic slow smokey lift off. An Aerotech F motor “takes off like a bullet”!

Great editing. No need for JLCR on a no wind day.

@@mobrockets We had a really great day today also. My Athen H went straight up on a F15-4 (and didn't Cato).

@ Wonderful! Looking forward to seeing your video of this… I get that part of rocketry is damage to our models. But it’s of course so much more better when all goes well. I applaud you getting your Athena built and flown. Mine is still in many pieces 😬😎.
