When we played against them and when I saw them at area I was sitting with my band and the first hit of all the instruments was the most Powerful and amazing feeling I’ve ever felt I was aback by how amazing and powerful it sounded

Happy to say, this is my band. I’m currently a freshman Trumpet in the actual show. During part 4 the Trumpets make a circle around the mellophones and during that part I’m the one in front somehow. I’m also very short so. Probably the shortest guy in the Trumpet Section. Maybe. I don’t really know to be honest.

Yeah that is insane! They have the most tubas I have ever seen for a band 4A and under. In all they have 17 tubas

@@freakyfrogmusic9672 It all depends on UIL's classification system. Most of the current 4As were 4A schools in the old system (now 5A) including Lumberton, LC-M, Vidor, Jasper, Silsbee, Livingston, WO-S. I remember in high school, Jasper dropped from 4A to 3A; the cut-off for 4A was 900 students and Jasper had 876. We went from being one of the smallest 4A (5A) schools to one of the largest 3As (4As) in the state in 2002.

i just want to say they are amazing people. they are hilarious and so talented and commited at what they do i travel and help them out and it is honestly my favorite part of band.

I usually plant myself midway up the bleachers on the 50-yard line, progressively moving upward as the contest continues to capture the larger bands in the later classifications.

@@Enphoso They arent even that big like they used to be. When I graduated from Lumberton in 2019, there was well over 210 members. This year, there is only 120 + the drill team, so about 140ish.

I agree! This band has a good thing going for them! Their music was just a tad muddy here and there, but once they clean that up, this show will be a tough contender at Area!

@@zackpoling9662 It's going to be between Lumberton, North Lamar, Bridge City, and even Little Cypress-Mauriceville for Area Champion. imo
