This might be the best series there has been in NA rocket league. It really looked like a true clash of titans. Nothing boring with impressive offensive and defensive showings from both teams. G2 with their characteristic incredible offense and Atomic with borderline cheating in net (just as it was so impressive not literal cheating). Well played both teams, what a series!

Hands down the best non-LAN match in RL Esports history, not just NA, this was an absolute battle. It had everything: crazy offensive plays, absolutely unbelievable defensive sequences, tons of OT's, a first ever triple Game 7 and everything in between. @@Tobiasnelius More games doesn't equal better series my guy. Making it last 3 hours just makes a lot of people skip to the end, or have to miss the matches if they're busy. A bo3 set of bo5 series is still a ton of rocket league, so there is nothing to complain about with my suggestion.
@gabrieledistinto23203 жыл бұрын
Agree, but i think the best way is to do only one bo7; 3 series are too much to watch, even if it is bo3 or bo5, because I think that the idea of 3 series is just wrong
@jackshultz23553 жыл бұрын
@@yellowtitan6040 how are you going to say this wasnt fun/ better to watch? You cant skip to the end on a livestream, on YT you can skip to then end in a bo3 bo5 anyways, a few less games wont make people watch the whole thing. Look at the viewer count for the entire event. It had more than double the viewers of the GRAND FINALS of the R6 MAJOR IN SWEEDEN, WHICH FEATURED FAZE AND THE PREVIOUS WORLD CHAMPS ON at the same time.This was for second seed at the first lan event in a year and a half, the suspense of the three hours up until the final goal was incredible to experience. What playing 21 games does is give a definite winner, even though it was only one game. with this format it is also possible to only play 8 games of RL if there are back to back sweeps. This will probably only happen one or two more times this season.
@yellowtitan60403 жыл бұрын
@@jackshultz2355 Most people don't want to watch for 3 hours straight, only die hard RL esports fans. And even of those fans, a decent amount will be too busy to watch for 3 hours straight. And yes, fewer games absolutely will incentivize more people to watch all the way through. And it makes the eSport more accessible to newer viewers who might be turned away by the set length. I honestly don't see what the big deal is. If you like RL so much, you'd be happy to sit and watch 3 bo5's like I suggested. I'm not suggesting something insane.
