Yeah good video.. I like how you showed him next to his competition.. MT01 Chrome really does give alot of bang for the buck.. the Spazer for him is awsome too.

does this figure have the Rocket Punch effect part like the other version, or is that only in the other version?

Thats only in the other version. The first version I have came with the effects in a bigger box, this came with no effect in a blister card.

PBM is getting a small batch of those 12' Mazinger Z action figures in a few weeks.. the Mazinger comes with a iron cutter forearm and one of those heavy reinforced punching fists with the studs running around the cuff like on the SRC version. Im getting one when they come in..

Yeah buddy. I just ordered that honda motorcycle polish protector and some white gloves. In 2 months I have bought 20 figures. From Big o Kurogane expansion to the soc great mazinger DX. I haven't opened any of them yet. Waiting to get everything 1st.

I know this is an older review but I remember buying something almost identical to a model I purchased and it was in a box that showed 5 or 6 famous anime robots and the actual robot in the box was unknown until you opened it and I had gotten a Grendaizer some of the other robots offered were Gaiking, and Raideen as well as Grendizer to name some. only different issues from this item in the review was mine was not die cast of course but just how it is designed was close to the same and immediately was why the memory of it came to mind when I saw this review. I actually have some of the figure still today. I believe it was marketed under the Super Robot title.

Its a hair taller than the SRC. I will have to say it is not better but it isnt necessarily worse either. Its just a different take on the robot. The SRC looks buff compared to the MT 01. If you are a fan, you owe it to yourself to at least have on of the MT-01 variations in your collection. The MT-01's have their quirks but are still enjoyable high quality figures

I got two Great Mazingers a 1st and a 2nd edtion, next on the list is the HLpro Grendizer Jumbo

Id get the Chrome, its got a better head and its got all you need to use with the Spazer (the open hands) You cant get the other one later if you really want the accessories, Im gonna get that Anime colored one and use the Head off of the Chrome on it when I want that look. The heads just pop off and are interchangible.

hi, I am looking for grandizer with spacer. recently i have come across 3 figures. In which order would you recommend from 1 to 3. 1) SRC grendizer with spacer USD100 2)HL PRO METALTECH with spacer $130 3)grendizer dynamite action $150

I myself would like to get the SRC version. The Dynamite is a little pricey being plastic as far as I know and the Metaltech while a great figure, would not be my first choice but I would consider it.

Thanks, i can find many open box review for SRC, but hardly any on HL PRO METALTECH and dynamite action. I might just get SRC one for now.

@rocketpuncharmy did you know you can remove a part of of the back of his neck, i.e. his nape.. so that when you pop back the head (ball jointed)... the figure can look forward more than what is being caused by the limitation of teh design of the figure's head/helmet.. when the figure is inside his UFO? .. try it.. pop out the head and tilt the neck backwards-- a piece of teh back of th eneck will slide out so you can remove it :-)
