Great feedback Daniel, the Deutsch connector on an extension cable simply plugs into the 4-pin Deutsch connector on the M2 speaker basket. The opposite end connects to the RGB controller with proprietary round 4-pin connectors. Great video, thanks for that! I have a question still, since I am installing the Rockford Fosgate on my power boat: 6 speakers on the boat & 2 more speakers on the monster tower- how I can connect all those with the RGB color unit

Hi W.A.M., the Color Optix controller supports up to eight (8) speakers/subwoofers. So you'll need 6 extension cables (RGB-6C, RGB-16C, RGB25C) to connect the 6 speakers to the controller. For the wake tower speakers, we currently don't have a 6-wire adaptor, so you'll purchase 2 long extension cables (like the RGB-25C) and cut the Deutsch connectors off to solder and heat-shrink the proper color wires to the short 6-pin Deutsch pigtail supplied with your wake speakers. I have a question so we recently got a stage 6 Rockford for a canam and the colors or different for example red is a green yellow and the only colors are white, green yellow and blue? How can I fix that?

How do I turn off the rgb when not using the stereo? I did a dual battery kit and the rgb stays on full time which will drain my second battery when not listening to music! So I’m assuming I either wasting money on a dual battery kit and should have gone larger battery. Or I have to do an isolator switch or stereo switch of some kind? The app offers no figure at all to turn the colors off when parked if you run off a second battery. FYI utv stereo dual battery kit. Any input would be highly appreciated

You can select Black in the App which will essentially turn the LEDs off.

We've seen a lot of Android issues in general due to the Bluetooth implementation from various manufacturers. Some brands work awesome, others have difficulty keeping a connection. We would always recommend making sure you have the latest Android operating software on your phone to minimize issues.

What exactly comes with the PMX-RGB? Does it include any Y-adapters or extension cable? I have 4 M1 speakers and 1 M2 sub that I need to wire.

The main controller and stainless steel screws come with the PMX-RGB. Extension cables and Y-adaptors are available separately. So, you'll likely need 1x extension cable for the M2 subwoofer, and either 4x extension cables for the M1 speakers -or- 2 y-adaptors with 4x extension cables for the M1 speakers.

Hi Steveo_617, YES ... you certainly can use the M1 or M2 series on a motorcycle with the ColorOptix controller. Everything is waterproof. Also consider the TMS speakers we make for Harley-Davidson. They are waterproof, have much lighter magnets (Neodymium vs Ferrite) and are frequency response tailored specifically so you can hear your audio over wind/road/exhaust noise.

Hi Martin, sorry we're just seeing this. KZbin made an algorithm update because we're now seeing messages we were never notified about. You just need 1 PMX-RGB controller, since it can support up to 8 speakers. You can find more info here: rockfordfosgate.com/products/details/pmx-rgb/

On the color picker screen (home), move the RGB to R0:G0:B0. This will effectively shut off the LEDs on all speakers.

There is a dimmer on the RF CONNECT App that allows you to change the LED intensity. Just move the slider to 0%.
