The reddish/orange “1” was a geological survey mark. When they go into mines to see what’s available they commonly mark it up and take samples. I’ve see many, many of these in mines. Good job! Like the video!

You should go to the goodsprings mine, it's the main mine and the biggest anywhere around its enormous probably about 20 levels with mincart rails 200 foot death pits massive open tunnels and plenty of Erea to get lost in but it's amazeing

I wonder if any of the giger counters on Amazon would be a good field tool to identify uranium. I tempted to go to the boss mine until I saw your discovery there. Keep up the good work sir.

My daughter visited here yesterday. There are numerous rocks on the surface to examine. Don't need to enter the shaft at all if you don't want to.

As always good video. That orange reddish whatever it was really did look like an arrow or a one. But did you figure out if it was arsenic? Also I liked your humsah necklace in this one 🤚✨

Hi Solomon, I'm Michael. I live in Vegas also, have the prospecting bug, and have watched several of your videos because of your locations and geology expertise. I have some questions for you and so I was hoping you might be willing to provide an elaborate answer. 1) You seem interested in both being a student of geology as well as prospecting, yet when you travel to these locations you don't bring a metal detector and have no intention to dry pan. Why is that? 2) You seem interested in finding grams of Au/ton in lode hard rock mining, yet you're hiking to remote locations with very limited ability to bring in trucks due to lack of road access even if you do find a treasure trove. What are you hoping to find with limited technology and an inability to carry heavy rocks back down the mountain? Do you have large capital backing that would fund claims you might discover where you can develop trucks, crushers and sluicers in the event that you make findings? 3) Would it be more lucrative to metal detect and pan to find a gold trove that way, or is there a reason you don't like to do this? If you find gold pay dirt or nuggets near a mountain it implies that there might be lode veins nearby. 4) Have you done any assays on the samples you've brought back to determine grams per ton of precious metals? 5) Are you more interested in hiking and the adventure or is your hope to make a great discovery and one day turn a large profit from these efforts? I mean these are all great videos for us people in the area, so that we can see what these places look like. Not too many hikers have gone to all the places you're going to so if you're just enjoying being a hiker that's cool too. Thank you for the videos. I have videos on my channel if its helpful to you to know more about who's asking you these questions. You seem knowledgeable so keep up the good work

Their is sighns at almost all of those mines that say not to take anything I've been to almost all of them and 90% have them or did before people destroyed them I've found plenty of silver though and taken it but removing large amounts of stuff might cause problems
