Getting cut through on your leg but not the pants is a pretty great (albeit painful) endorsement. Love to see you shred this park, some of the features look huge!

Is it? I got a shinner on a rail that required 6 stitches last year, on some $10 Walmart pants, and they were totally fine (aside from the blood). Fabric in general is just a lot more durable than skin, esp on your shins.

@ThirtyandRollin people are asking about zippers on the knees. They are concerned that falling on the knees will get that zipper right between the knee and pawement / concrete / surface. What we say from our side: Those zippers are above the knees and landing on knees would drag those zippers even higher so that never happens. Can you confirm or deny please?

Yes that is correct. They will be above the knee on falls. Unless you like to sag your pants a ton.
