Rob, a long, long time ago; in a land called Melbourne, we crossed paths - I think the connection was John Dallimore. South Yarra, can't remember the name of the street, or my mate's address; I could drive to it on memory from QLD if I had to. I had the best and most amazing sounding 1969 Strat that my mate's Dad picked up for me in Paris for $50 Aussie in French Francs (yes, $50 Aussie). The year? Mate, I'm trying to be spot on - I think it was 1977. Rob, there are so many of us, too many of us from the old days. We need to get off our arses and reconnect ... and meet up somewhere, somehow, for the most almighty jam, blast, session in the known cosmos. The world is pretty screwed now mate, but I reckon folks would come and listen.
