I just re discovered this after my best friend/guitar player tried showing me this band years ago...goddamn, give ANYTHING to get GEARHARDT back, and maybe get to see these guys live. TIME TRAVEL. Too bad our government is so fucking greedy w technology..., And my friend, gsneral? Nah, Carlos is whatever is better than king! More fitting would prolly be, Legend, maybe Rockabilly GOD! Their music has carried me thru the most fucked up month in my life... Every generation has a few bands like this. Revisiting a sweeter, simpler time. Hate to sound trendy, but if you're at least 50, this reminds you of the late 70s, Early 80s , when Stray Cats got big. These guys are better than the stray cats, but just opinion. You can't really compare something from the present, to music from 40 years ago, based on music from 65 years ago...I think we're heading towards a massive decentralization of pop music, to the point where it may never fully matter anymore.
