Fabulous 'Rocky Castle'... oh how we loved riding down that hill on our bikes as children, no sitting on a mobile phone for us! A place we've never been to. Looks lovely and you had good weather too. Dave loves scotch eggs. Some great stalls there. Not sure about a campsite, but people taking part in the larger events over 2 or 3 days probably stay on site. Not sure if that means others can camp there.

My first visit was in the 4th year juniors. Did you know the front of the castle was used as scenery in the film Top Secret with Val Kilmer? If you go to the top of the turrets, on a clear day you can see 4 counties. Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire & Rutland.
