The real test is when you bound up in rock crawling. That will tell ya if they last. I'm pretty hard on my VRD Carbon and it has held up so far.

Thanks for sharing, personally I'd never buy overpriced chucks of tiny metal toys but these are much more reasonably priced.

It's pretty much identical to the axial stock ones, so any after market ar44 gear should fit

It's the stock 1.9 wraith body with the stickers removed, it's unfortunately discontinued by axial so no reliable way to get one. Some might pop up from time to time on eBay but it's pretty rare now a days. One alternative I can offer is scx10 dealbolt body, you can make it fit the wraith cage with some modification. It has similar lines to the 1.9 wraith but definitely not a good looking

why would anyone care that youre running knock offs ? I have multiple sets of multiple knock offs and theyve been just fine. I also didnt pay $700 for a pair of axles. Plus you can run vanquish or vitavon shafts in them if they do end up breaking

@@steve_beatty no, whats immoral is charging $700 for a pair RC axles. Whats immoral is charging $80 for a tiny piece of anodized aluminum that probably cost the company less than 2$ to make. Vitvon and vanquish would probably have more customers if they didnt ridiculously overcharge for EVERYTHING they make.

@@scottmichael7178 sounds like good old capitalism to me...don't buy their products if you think all that high level machining on the vanquish axles isn't worth the money...but don't support thieves FFS..🙄 You should also know that the copy is not equal to the original. I know that from personal experience... I recently bought a pair of front portals from an amazon vendor only to find out they were poor copies of the vanquish f9's filled with junk gears that grenaded on first use . 🙄 I was refunded in full eventually but had to go through the stress of dealing with that a-hole and rebuilding the drive train again , with proper vanquish axles this time though..😉

@@steve_beatty haha, dont you see how controversial what you just said is. Sounds like it's capitalism is what you're calling immoral. If it werent for people talking others ideas and producing them themselves, capitalism would cease to exist. And when their patent expires, thats what is expected, thats what always happens. You cant criticize one part of capitalism and call it immoral, then praise the other side and say "good old capitalism" when the originator charges an arm and a leg for their product. Not everyone can afford $700 for a pair of axles for a toy !! Especially if they have multiple rigs. Might as well have bought a new axle housing for my real rig. And you dont see the hypocrisy in you saying you bought a set yourself, then calling others immoral for doing it ??? I wouldnt expect a knock off to have the same quality machining as something that literally costs 7x the amount, but if it fits someone's needs, who the hell cares.

@@scottmichael7178 It' not immoral to buy cheap axles..it's immoral to knowingly buy cheap copies of existing axles.I did not even know the axles I bought were copies until I had them and the new vanquish axles in hand at the same rime...they copied just about everything except the quality....I build and fly quadcopters as well..I pay for original frames even though there are cheap copies on bangbad because it's the right thing to do shiny...Knowingly buying copies makes you just as much a thief...

- "Gosh"... only after 9hrs. of use & abuse, and they look like sh*t !!!! 👎 - Anyhoo... I would rather beg Josh of "Hardly Designs" to give me a discount, and "be told no", instead of waiting on these plus paying for shipping, and just to have the shoulder-screws "back-out" where I would have to constantly "check" all (4) - all the time !!!! 🤨... 🤔... - Uhh, "nope" !!! 😏
