Yeah, but at least it’s not Red from X7. He may not be invincible, but the fight is about as monotonous and the platforms are spaced far apart in a 3D space.

@@ZeroX7649 funny joke Bro, I Just forgot to laugh at It after getting over 20 cheap deaths to the bottomless Pit, Gate being invencible towards Any damage or stun, throwing orbs in places where I couldnt not get hit, the shrapnels being undodgable with X most of the time resulting in you always getting hit and sometimes not even hitting gate at all, and one of his orbs can actually cause the game to lag If you're way too close to them, resulting in your inputs not registering and falling to your doom. What's the next funny joke you Will come up with? Gonna say High Max is the best Boss battle in the franchise because It doesnt unnecessarily drags out and is even easier than the opening stage boss? Impress me dude, you're doing a good Job being a comedian.

Gate sucks not because he’s hard per se, it’s because he loves stalling out for no particular reason. High Max’s nigh invulnerability made his fights intense because he’s constantly throwing attacks your way and you make him vulnerable yourself, but Gate requiring you to reflect his spheres back at him (and the fact that he often refuses to use them at all) makes him the most anticlimactic battle in the entire series.

i think high max is more boring, once you figure out his pattern it's pretty much just dodging his attack then doing a tiny sliver of damage to him... at least gate has a factor of randomness to him that makes the fight a bit more engaging and varied, though depending on who you ask that may be a bad thing

​@@GyroMan5136To me it's a terrible thing because the platforms do not allow for your full range of evasion. You litterally get trapped in so many parts. Guard shell is literally required for this fight as zero to make it even playable. This fight might be worse than Nightmare mother if you didn't have the guard shell to block the projectiles

@@royscarlet0605 The region for your game. IE; North America uses NTSC (60Hz refresh rate), Japan uses NTSC-J (again, 60Hz), and most of Europe uses PAL (50Hz refresh rate). I ask because the music seemed slowed down from what I'm used to hearing, probably because I'm in the USA and used to hearing it from a 60Hz rate, which is a very noticable difference. The music and game runs just a tad slower than NTSC, so the frame difference makes a bit of difference in music and gameplay.
