Ahh, this video brought back memories! It's nice to know there are others that love 45s. I have just over 7000 of them and, just recently logged them all in "Discogs". I highly recommend doing that; It will save you from buying doubles, tripples, etc. It took me over a month to get 'em all up there. Cool video.

Ha Ha,Mary Janes last Dance, and I live in Indiana. I'm part of an 80s trivia group that I'm a Patreon member of and we have private 80s 45rpm auctions one a month. I have over 800 at the moment. And he charges $4 for no picture art and $5 for picture art, doesn't matter what it is. I got Mary Janes last Dance a few years back for $4, and several other Tom Petty, I scored over 50 80s US and UK punk genre 45s last month, I was ecstatic,no one else in the group cared for the punk rock, got bands like The Decepticons,The 3-Ds, Flipper, even A DRI!

30:57 I don't think that's junk she's buying junk. You're buying 45 singles, not junk. So the two grandmas are buying what they like just like you. You've made it like a bandit. They're just having fun.

Yes, the fun is in the find - and the sell too! Thanks for the feedback Jimmy, it always helps to get a different perspective. 😎👍🏻🤘

@16:24 is an example of how badly Capitol messed up with presenting the Starz on 45s. They spent all of that money releasing 45s on yellow vinyl but could not understand that you have to make the band easily identifiable on the label. This poor guy had no clue what he was looking at and yet it was a top 40 single in 1977. It did come with a picture sleeve, which is missing here. So I guess that would be Capitol's rebuttal on how they put all of those 45s in PS's with the band's name front and center.

As usual - over-priced records in an Antique mall - I'd hate to see his LP prices! Antiques dealers need to stick to antiques. The absolute worst thing is an antiques dealer with record price guides because they know very little how to actually use 45 & LP price guides (conditions, pressings, etc.)! The one good thing about that is occasionally they will come to a record not in the guides and they're totally lost and you can get a great grail record for next to nothing! Happened to me a few times at our local Antiques mall in Lemoyne, Pa.

BTW, that Sam The Sham 45 you bought was a later release of their early hits on their oldies label.

@@billstill1794 - There were a number of re-issues shown. Like the Todd Rundgren "I Saw The Light" single backed with "We Gotta Get You A Woman". I totally agree with the antique store ridiculous pricing. I don't even bother with them any longer. It's tough for me to pay more than a $1 or $2 for anything. More power to those who have the disposable income to pay $5 a pop for 45s.
