This guy is awesome, and it's so great to see a traditional artist. Yeah, I can see a little Vince Gill, Keith Whitley, Alan Jackson, Joe Diffie....... he's an amazing throwback to true 80's/90's Country Music

I totally get the Vince Gill sound. He was once named the hottest voice in country and i think zach is exactly that right now

Thanks for the morning selection. The song was a co-write by Zach along with Carson Chamberlain and Tim Nichols, Zach released this in 2004 on his debut album 'Cold Beer & Country Music'. The song is about twolonely strsngers that meet at a bar and pretend to fall in love for the night, to find temporary comfortI I know many guys who can relate to this , going to a bar and getting a "wife for a night". I think you said the Vince Gill comment because he held some notes, at the end of some words. Thank you for the reaction

Love this kid's music! Country music really needs him. Just so happens, he's from Sunnyside, Washington, which is about 10 miles from my hometown.

Interesting choice Don. New artist to me. I like his voice, agree about the similarites to Vince that is amplified a bit by the arrangement I think. I like the style which is 80s/90s as Chris mentioned below. I'd love to hear more like that these days. However I can't agree with the idea t behind the lyrics, although I do understand it. Thanks Don for the interesting choice and the terrific reaction!

His turn of a phrase and his ascension into a higher note does sound like Vince Gill. Great song, but of rather selfish, but honest, reason for a moment of relief from the pain of lost love and a breakup.

He reminds me, at different times, of different 80s country singers. Often, it's Keith Whitley. Sometimes it's Earl Thomas Conley. Sometimes Steve Wariner or others.

I like the vocals but not the gist of the song. Good reaction, Don.
