A lot of artists can sing sad songs and make you feel it but only George Jones can rip your heart out!

What’s not to love about a self-aware man? A self aware super-star that means what he says? A unicorn. That’s why we love George. He felt it with us.

Wow! Don, what a week of great music. Another great Jones song from the 1999 album of the same name. A tremendous well written song, great reaction/rating. What else can you say it is George Jones simply the best.

Do thanks again for an outstanding selection. I f I may bare a bit of my old soul songs such as this are often very applicable to a majority of the people that listen to and enjoy them. Roughly 25 years ago I looked into the mirror and I realized that I was living this song, needless to say the reflection was not what I wanted to see. It is never too late to grow up and accept responsibility for one’s actions. The thought of accepting and apologizing turned out to be much harder than the actual process. God Bless everyone.

This song is painful. I've been the one who lost it all. I was young and immature. I still find immature traits within myself. James O'Hara wrote this. He died in January, 2021.

Not sure if you got the answer from the comments from when this was uploaded originally, but this was written by Jaimie OHara, same guy who wrote 50,000 Names, also sung by George.

I actually prefer the version sung by the writer, Jaime O’Hara. It is a great version. Jaime also wrote 50,000 Names. He was also half of the great duo, The O’Kanes.
