I know this is a couple of years old, but I just stumbled across it on Pinterest and LOVE IT! I started painting rocks a couple of months ago when I stumbled across a kindness rock at the park and now I’m hooked! I just got metallic acrylic paints and a bunch of Posca paint pens. I also got a marker case and rolling cart for my supplies! I was always terrified of getting other colors on the top but you have eased my mind with that AND taught me that I can use a wet paint brush to essentially give a watercolor look! I’m stoked! You can doodle off the tip on paper as you use them. If it gets dried on they pull right out and you can rinse in warm water.

I’m really having trouble with the blending. I’m using acrylics and when I try to blend, either it’s too dry or I end up pulling the paint off my rock, many times thru the base coat and bare rock. Grrrrr. You make it look so easy. Pls do some blending with acrylics.
