Saw these guys in Chicago, IL (The Live Wire...summer of 2018). One of the best live performances I've ever seen!! Front-row, relentless headbanging, got to meet the band before they played, and hung out with a bunch of cool people from the show afterwards at some old-fashioned cafe!! I'm from a small town in the corn fields...so this was an awesome night!!

I thought about bringing my 'Calm Before the Storm' 7' for the original guys to sign it but I was paranoid that it would get damaged from the summer heat -ha. The Sadistic Intent guys were selling original demo cassettes from the early 90s at the merch table (I should have bought one!!).

I'm just sitting here reminiscing food and remembering what a big deal Sadistic intent is and was. My band Saprophyte, played a good handful of shows in the early 90s, LA scene. Amazing bands back in those days. Sarcastic, Catelepsy, Demolition, Cyanide, and many others.it was always a big deal to play with these guys. Got a chance to see them in my later days again, in 2018 playing with Terrorizer LA. Great memories.

That's how metalheads are linked with one another. I find out about Sadistic Intent through a friend who lived in Los Angeles and visited his record store "Dark Realm Records" in Downey California. Have had the pleasure to hangout with them and Bay did sound for us on a gig we did in L. A. Killer times!

Pretty sure I have some sort of demo tape from these guys. I can't seem to find any info on the tape, and it's not shown on metal archives. The logo is the same, but it looks a little different. It's also hand drawn I believe, but I could be thinking of another tape from a different band. I'll have to dig it out of storage and find out if it's these guys or not. I wish I could give you some kind of update. I have moved a couple times since I posted here, and my tapes have been packed in a box sitting in a storage unit almost this entire time. Different units because we’ve moved from Seattle to Phoenix. But, that said, I am planning on moving into a new place by this summer and hope to find my tapes. I’ll let you know when I do.
