Gilby let us know here that Super Nova was looking for someone to lead them. Someone with creative song writing ability because none of them have any. If you think about it they bring a drummer, bass player, and a rhythm guitar player now playing lead. None known for their song lyrics or writing .

Which is the reason Supernova was a flop, because none of them, not even Lukas, were either strong songwriters or charismatic enough to hold a band on their own. So they needed the collective fame of all of them as musicians + a good frontman (frontwoman was never an option, let's stop pretending they fooled us lol) with charisma who could also write music. But Lukas, talent and all, wasn't enough to counteract the fact that rock is no longer mainstream so it's harder than ever to make it and you have to be a really astounding songwriter and showman to make it, classical rock -the one these guys were used to playing- is a thing of the 90's, and Supernova was a plastic product. All of those factors together made the project collapse.

Lukas really struggled with this clinic, however I know how strong a song-writer he is because he writes all the songs on all of his albums. Check out 8 Days, Hollywood, Seed, Super Sex Magic, Prophecy, Stars Down, Moodswings, even Switchblade Glory

Dilana’s outbursts and chilly comments toward her peers might be her downfall, sadly. She’s awesomely talented and works the stage fearlessly with that perfect look for hard rock music. Her voice is what I’ve always longed for in female rock singers. There aren’t many female singers with such a sound. However, her demeanor offstage is culpable. Not sure many band members could tolerate such volatility. Too bad.
