Boy those tunes swing, don't they? I read once that rocksteady morphed from the more upbeat ska after a sweltering summer, when all of the beats slowed down. Not sure if it's true, but it sounds good. One of the best eras of music, late 60s Jamaica. Thanks Mighty Max Music.
