How blessed these dancers are to have this swing Club in their hometown. I wish this style of dancing make a major comeback. So healthy, so fun, so connected, so very sociable!.

Just in case, I'd like to clarify, these dancers don't have 'this swing club in their hometown'. And this is not a club, but Europe's largest annual international festival. The video features famous swing dancers and dance teachers from all over the world, more precisely from 15 countries in Europe, the USA and Korea (the list of dancers can be found in the comments), invited to the festival as instructors. Munich, where the festival is held, is the hometown of the festival organizers, legends of contemporary swing Marcus Koch & Bärbl Kaufer (who unfortunately don't dance in this video, but Marcus announces the performers). As for the rest, I join your wishes.

I agree and love it. Even if there is something dark betwen all this 'high mood' 'positivity' it makes me feel unconfortable somehow. Everyone perfectly smiling for 20 minutes at the same time. Of course sometimes you act but anyway it is still pretty cool

The Illinois State Fair was usually the third week of August. The top floor of the Illinois building was an open dance floor with a canopy around the outside edges. Teen dances were held every evening 7-12 pm. The open top had a great effect and we danced under the stars. Bands were booked from St. Louis and Chicago. My summer of ‘62!!

I too used to go to the Marquee in the 60s with my friends and dance like that and now I play double bass in a swing band. Love it! What more could a 75 yr old woman want!

I absolutely love the energy this type of dancing has. I would love to see more of it . There are so many dancers who look like they have wool instead of leg's. Because I think that legs couldn't move that fast 😊.

The presentation of the dances by the teachers was excellent. But I wanted to cover the other side of this show as well. This is the support of the speakers by their colleagues. Tanya became the leader of such support. I was touched by her sincere reaction to each performance of her colleagues. And, especially, when Nils and Bianca "stirred up" the others with their dance.
