For those who see such dances for the first time, here is the answer to the most frequently asked question. This video features award-winning (World, American, European, local, etc.) professional dancers and dance teachers invited as dance teachers at RTSF - one of the largest swing dance festivals in the world. In this teacher's jam, which opens the educational part of the festival, they show future students their art of dance and improvisation. There are tons of great KZbin videos of each of the dancers involved in this jam, featuring only modern swing stars. The full list of dancers and songs can be found in the comments.

To anyone liking these swing dance video's, take some lessons, start some groups in your area, it is more fun than you will ever believe! In Europe you are lucky, swing, Lindy hop and jive seem to be much more common than here in USA, and the people you will meet are amazing too!

You know ANY place in the US that's a hotbed for swing, lindy, boogie woogie? Sure there's some swing and lindy but I can't find boogie woogie anywhere.

@@broadcasttttable You might not be able to find boogie-woogie in the US as the name boogie-woogie is only common in Europe (Wikipedia says). In the US you might find swing-dances like jitterbug, lindy-hop et al.

Stimmt, viele tolle Tänzer - und sie haben alle tolle Tanzpartnerinnen. Gemeinsam das Tanzen entwickeln, darin liegt viel Energie und Freude. 💓 Auch Damen sind nicht unbedingt alle talentiert - voriges Jahr beim Auftritt (!) einer Linedance-Gruppe beobachtet: fades Gesicht, kein Blickkontakt, kein Styling... Es fallen wenige MeisterInnen vom Himmel.

Please please does anyone know who this Jessica is ?? in the first slot with Steve. He use to dance with Fancy D and later on with Chanzie Roetig. This Jessica seems to be a stand in .... it is just for my information - I don't have a long distance crush on her !! I collect names as it were. She also appears in a previous RTSF when she is in black and looks a bit like a smaller version of Monica Lewinsky. Perish the thought .. a nice guy like Steve getting mixed up with Wh-re like Monica. No Way. !! Monica can get dancing lessons from Bill C - he's not doing much these days. Someone out in the dance world must be able to make a call. I is possible that she is one of Steve's bettr students and ergo can't be located via searches on Jessica Dance teacher etc.. which don't seem to work. Monica (excuse me... Jessica) chews gum at the beginning frames, so she is no doubt some variety of Yank. regards TE F (NZL)
