Rocktrumpet Bonsai Pruning - Mandevilla Vine Bonsai Update

I've been shaping this flowering vine into a tree-formed bonsai for a few years - today, I give it a winter pruning.

Lookin strong. Slow progress with vines, but she looks like she is off to a great start. I’m diggin it.

Yep - and no idea if it will ever turn into anything. If you're looking for one to get a lot of practice in though, this one needs frequent prunings.

@@brianvandermey4223 - there are! It had a bad time last spring but made an amazing comeback. I'll post an update soon on it.
