ROCKVILLE WEDGE Charging & Wireless-DMX SET UP MASTER SLAVE/MODE [DISREGARD DATE/TIME]

The Rockville wedge series battery powered wireless dmx led lighting system has simply been the easiest par lighting system I have dealt with.
**The instruction manual gives an improper charging method.
-Trouble setting up DMX Channels? The Following includes some basic theory of operation and general information.
-LIGHTING CONTROLLER or APP controller wired or wireless. (NOT REQUIRED FOR ROCKVILLE WEDGE LINKING, UNLESS YOU WANT TO PROGRAM A LIGHT CHASE OR MULTIPLE PRESET SCENES; YOU WILL NOT NEED A CONTROLLER FOR THESE LIGHTS)
Controllers can have multiple channels (1-8) or(1-16)+ and controllers can also give multiple banks for use of those channels, usually changed by pressing a bank A/B/C) Button on the controller thus turning say an eight/sixteen channel controller into a 16or32 channel controller. These A/B/C/ banks are used to tell each light exactly what functions and settings you want active for the current scene/snapshot. Depending upon the light type model/make or version of a light they will usually have 9-18 channels of functionality; I will usually give each light a full 16 channels when addressing them.

Addressing your lights with a controller?
Let's Say Light 1,2 and Light 6 are all going to be controlled using only one Fixture/Light button on your controller.
Let's also set each other fixture up as if they are their own light with there own address thus if we want to talk to it we must click the proper fixture button on the controller, this part can be tricky if you have never worked with dmx before.

L2_001 / [L2 will be controlled with fixture/Light 1 button]
L3_017 / LIGHT2
L4_033 / LIGHT3

L6_001 / [L6 controlled w/ Fixture 1 along with L1&L2 Add. _001]
** Wired DMX connections: If everything is working how you want it but you have a light flickering or possibly losing signal/reseting or otherwise acting a fool; the cause is possibly due to a feedback loop or some other startrek term and usually purchasing a dmx terminator and placing it in the last light at the end of your lighting chain will stop the problem!

The beautiful thing when running these lights without a lighting board, using only master slave mode is that you can ignore the Banks and addresses and simply make sure your wifi colors are the same and they will link up properly. I believe you may be able to run several masters using a different wifi color per each master and setting the slaves to the corresponding wifi color.

I have these however when they are setup as master/slave the range is not very good on the wedges alone so I use them with the Rockville Best Par 60 which has wireless dmx w/antenna so they work extremely well linked that way. Great range

I have noticed the range issue; seems like with a full room of people I get about 8-10 yards with little to no issue; I have been setting the masters in the center of the room and it seems to fix the issue though not having my master next to my side is annoying..

Can this lights be pair with ADJ airstream bridge to control them using the airstream app on an iPad

Sorry so late. I am uncertain however I imagine it could easily be done. At the least the rockville wedges could be slaves to your adj lighting.

It is entirely plausible and I will test this at some point to have up to 6 master/wifi.channels running countless slaves?!?!
