Terrific looking razor, so thank's to Andrew for kindly giving it to Paul for all of us to see! Beautiful arrangement Mrs. H, you always seem to outdo yourself! Great shave Paul always nice to see the different products. Raining and windy here and at 49f it feels darn cold. We have been stuck in this cold/wet pattern for too long now. I bought my first DE Razor Merkur 34 in 2017 and couldn't shave it so I switched to the electric shaving world. I bought Braun series 7. Suddenly, I went back to De razor shaving. This time i watched your tips carefully and i bought all the necessary things for good wet shaving like good brush, after shave balsam, splash etc. Since April 2019 I am shaving with the Double edge razor and I am enjoying it. I received an Eau De Parfum from copycat today as i bought Executive and thought it was fantastic so i ordered another Creed "copy" which is SMW (silver mountain water) and it's lovely. A lot more citrus notes and a good daytime scent compared to executive which is a great evening scent. It only cost me about £17 for 50ml as i received a 30% off code as it seems it is worth signing up for as i have been sent a few codes over the last few weeks. Going to get the Bleu De Chanel copy next month if funds are available after a holiday in southern France

I use the the slim on a steeper angle than this razor, it is very efficient due to the aggression, no overhang of the blade, keeps the blade tight and firm. Be interesting to see how it works after a few years of use.

Great shave Paul. I love my model T on setting 6 with a nacet. Lovely shaver. I'm not so fussed with their blades, however...they can be quite inconsistent. Some are quite ok and in the same pack you'll get some 'roughies'. I advise people to pay 'em forward or toss 'em and get some Nacets LOL.

I like the look of the razor, i collect fragrances but cannot stand creed aventus, for the same money you could by acqua di parma essenza, a classic italian lemon soap scent that lasts days, a bottle of kouros, a bottle of azzaro pour homme and still have change for a steak dinner for two. Cool man nice thing. I use the Edwin jagger de89 and Astra superiors. Tried other razors but just keep coming back to that 89 style razor just hard to beat. Not too aggressive to leave the skin aggravated and not too tame to not get a pretty good shave. Hot of sensitive skin I suppose lol

in an other previous video concerning rockwell T TTO razor you are using a gillette blade after 6 uses , now with the rockwell blade you are saying that the razor is agressive even in level 1, does that mean that the blade is making the razor agressive or is it the changes made to the razor versus the original edition T1, I am ordering a T2, but don't want to have the bad experiencia which I had with the qshave parthenon razor which I had to give away since even in level 1 it was very agressive , regards robert

If you like mild, this is aggressive, you would certainly feel the blade exposure . The Parker Variant is adjustable and milder than this .

Nice video! If the blade gaps are the same as my 6s, I would say that the 6 setting is equal to 3 1/2 on my Merkur Progress... Cheers!

The gaps are said to be the same, but this is more aggressive than the 6s ( I have not tried a 6s) so going by what people who own or tried both say.... I agree with the Progress or Variant in comparison.....many thanks :-)

The Rockwell Model T is slightly more aggressive than the 6S or 6C setting for setting. Hit me up if you want me to forward the email they sent me about it. Also, if you like the blade from the dark packaging, you'll love the one in the white package.

Congrats on the model T sir. The only thing I’d do different is use a Nacet blade. Those Rockwell blades are fairly rough but do the job nonetheless. Great video btw

@Gmar80 whatever works best for him. If you have a New razor and you put a New blade you start wondering if its the blade or the razor that makes it aggresive for example!

Yes I usually do that, but wanted to see how it felt with there own issued blades, as that is what someone would first feel using this razor, unless they have many blades of course....Will be interesting to see how it feels with a couple of my go to blades :-)

Bj Cundiff I have both. I would recommend the REX. It’s much more solid and better built.

That looks like an amazing razor! How does it compare to the Gillette Fatboy?? I would love to see you to do a shave with a Fatboy or a Slim Adjustable, with a Gillette Nacet blade and if available to you the Gillette Pure shave cream free of alcohol, dyes, parabens, and sulfates. In my opinion, fantastic cream with a nice menthol scent and feel. Jim from Northfield, Ohio, USA.

It works well, it is more aggressive than the Fatboy on any setting in my opinion.....I have used the Fatboy and Slim with a Nacet, but never the Gillette Pure, must check that out....many thanks Jim :-)

Great video Paul! I received my Rockwell model T a couple of weeks ago (after a 2 plus year wait) . For the most part, I’ve enjoyed the razor quite a bit although it’s definitely more aggressive than their other models. Having used it regularly /daily, I find it a works very well and can definitely become my regular go-to razor. A slick soap is a must though.

Attention ！Rockwell’s 100 pack blades may have lacks of quality control. Wrappings on blade sometimes, paper, wax-paper, and blade. Among times it’ll be paper, blade 1x or possibly blades 2x. Nor so much looking at imperfections through an Microscope. The blade or blades have allot ripples in leading results to drag, pull, tug, cut and irritation.

If a razor has a range of numbers on it from 1 - 10 , 1 would be the mildest in aggression, moving up to 10 the razor's most aggressive setting.

Great shave great feedback even on 1 Cracker razor and brush love the fact there is no overhang looked like a great soap You always know you’ve had a close shave when you bring out the Alum imitation £35 what’s the real stuff cost Definitely special when someone sends you a razor like that Don’t have contact so much like me we all rely on our wife’s probably too much 🤣😂
