Dear friend, I'm sorry for your loss. My father died not long ago also. But I must share with you this, he prepared me for his death since I was 5 years old. It still hurt but I'm better now. It will get better. You won't stop missing him but the pain will get better, I promise. Here's to our dads and to seeing them again one day.

My condolences mate. Sometimes we humans don't appreciate the great things in life until they're gone forever and then we're left with utter regret. So you cherish her presence in your heart and you keep her memory alive, u hear me!! coz once regret is born it'll only eat u alive till there's not even an ounce of you left on the inside.

Grandpa. Lost him die to COVID, and- There's this chair at my grandparent's place, not too fancy, but it is comfy. Every day when he would get home from work, he would sit there. We knew that as *his* chair. I visit my grandma more nowadays, and whenever I come in, I see that chair. I half expect him to come in one day, me sitting in his chair, and he'll say to me "Move over, Squirrel." Some days are..harder than others.

To my son. I was a Trainwreck going nowhere. I had my son last year at 38. I'm older and wiser. In my prime I was reckless. In my 20s I thought living like Goodfellas was the way to go. Getting arrested and losing it all didn't even bring me to my knees. But looking into my son's eyes at 3am 2 days after he was born. Just him and I. His mother was asleep. And I got to feed him for the first time. I was teary like a Mfer

I thank God that was the father I was destined to have. I watched him die when I was only 12 yrs old. I felt that day my life ended, but now at 38 the way he was and the things he said to me have kept me going and I still remember and go back to the things he taught me. Thank you Father. This scene reminds me of my Grandpa Joe.... He was always there for me even when my parents weren't, I was amazing at Soccer, basketball and schoolwork. He always called me after every game, even showed up to a few even though he lived in Texas and I in WA. He passed away when I was 11 and I was hit by a drunk driver the next year breaking my arm and all the bones in my left knee. When he passed I felt like I lost my 'mick' the rest of my family didn't care for my athletics,. Even then ...I continued playing through all of that, sometimes after the toughest games and adversity I still wish he would call me just to tell me how proud he was of me again. You don't come across many people like that in your life.

Sylvester Stallone actually wrote the Rocky movies. Hollywood producers wanted to give him a few million dollars for it, but Stallone wanted to be the lead character. He was literally unknown at the time, so nobody wanted to give him a chance. They wanted to buy the rights to the movie and have someone else play the lead role. So Stallone had to settle for a couple hundred thousand dollars for his script, and he got to play the lead role. Best decision he could have ever made. That's some real life motivation. Follow your dreams.

Keep fighting for your father, like the great rocky once said " it ain't about how you hit, it's about how much you can get hit and keep moving forward, how much you can take and keep moving forward."

+3rd Gunman I've watched that scene over and over. Adonis "I'm going to go over there and knock that son of bitch down." Rocky "I know you are kid... and you know why? Cause you're a CREED... and I love you kid." ONIONS

I play this every morning when I struggle to fight my inner doubt & Don’t feel like I got the strength to go. My father is alive & well & I always Imagine my father telling me these words.

No movie scene ever touches me like this ever...It made me cry when I was a young boy and now having my own son that is 11 years old and a amateur boxer and may i say a dam good 1...and loosing people I loved dearly and hit rock bottom turning to drink and drugs this scene fills me with drive and pride I thank God for my son because of him I had no choice but to pull myself together mick was right nature is starter than you think he gave me a reason to go on .. I thank God for my entire family 🙏
