@@LucyLovettLestrange This song is basically what a newborn would sing if they had the adult capacity to think. It involves a lot of "wtf is this", "its cold", "everything is terrifying, what have I come out into?!"

I do love the original, and this one is certainly good. I especially love Staz’s singing for this, it helps tie the rest of the vocals and music together. It’s hard to decide which one I like better, so I’m going to have to say that I love both the original and the remake equally.
@TheGenomario3 жыл бұрын
I agree with you on that
@Callum07 Жыл бұрын
@Blair Bart While I won’t debate your opinion on which is better, I will however correct you and say that this *is* a remake. The original is the movie with Tim Curry in it as Dr. Frank ‘n’ Furter. He plays the Narrator in this version. Even that movie was a film adaptation of a theatre production of the same name with almost, if not all of the original cast from said shows.
@Callum07 Жыл бұрын
@Blair Bart your word is certainly not law, because you’re on the internet. Everyone’s voice is heard here. However, I didn’t know that Kenny Ortega and the people at Fox had called it a tribute. If they want to call it that, they can, no-one’s stopping them, and certainly not me. A note for the future, perhaps: instead of trying to lord over someone over the internet by replying to an old KZbin comment, maybe politely correct them and explain it in the first reply. You’ll earn more respect from the person you’re replying to.

Why are you complaining, Rocky? You’re instantly born handsome and with a superstar voice.

It's supposed to be inexplicable foreshadowing. Rocky somehow knows Frank is going to bang him, causing Riff-Raff and Magenta to become Jealous, torture him, and cause the events that lead to his eventual demise after just 8 hours.
@aneshiam2 жыл бұрын
Amazing voice it’s so sexy like his character is supposed to be also he’s so innocent and scared and really shows that very well with a Frankenstein take, he has to get used to his legs and he has people chasing him and touching him so the actor in my opinion does an absolutely amazing job at this. With the remake was more popular :)

i had doubts about this when it came out but i ended up loving it. A lot of things wrong with it but that dosnt outweigh the things I’m,ikes about it. Of course I like the original better but I can appreciate this.

This version is just too clean and “nice”. Every song is pitch corrected and filled with lovely Disney-type backing band to make it sound pretty and acceptable and all the cast are pretty and very acceptable which goes against the whole point of the film! The whole thing about rocky horror is that it says you have a right to feel beautiful and accepted even if you’re not pretty or straight or any of those things that society isn’t fond of and this version just kicks that out of the window for something that looks and sounds appealing to everyone.

I'll be the one to say it, this one better than the original. The original was good and set the bar but this just surpassed it in every way it could. I watched both to make the comparison and OG Rocky was more direct, he was telling everyone how it felt being alive but with no emotion. This Rocky is showing them how he felt. his body language and how he was stumbling around, his facial expressions, you could see the fear in his face when he got back in the cooler. Even down to the singing, OG Rocky you could hear panic, and This Rocky his voice was good but it kept wavering like he still didn't know what he was doing. I could be getting too deep into it but like I gotta be thorough and back up my claim.

I will honestly say I like this version better than the original. And I was a fan of the original way before this version. Its more true to the original staged play - very campy and colorful. Also with today's technology the production value and everyone's vocals are just much more up to par (in my opinion). Of course the original will always be a classic, no one is taking that away. But that doesn't mean this one doesn't beat it (in certain aspects).

They missed an opportunity, since 'Frank' is played leaning more feminine, 'Rocky' should've been cast as a woman.
@tmc35673 жыл бұрын
I don't think they wanted to deviate from the script. In this version Laverne is called "Master", when it should have been "Mistress".
@ditto10513 жыл бұрын
This whole thing was miscast.... Doesn't make any sense-FranknFurter should be in drag, so since he's played by a woman-should be wearing men's clothes. Then it follows that the creature should be a woman. Original male Frank makes a man. Remake, Frank is a woman and should make a woman. A hot patootie mess if you ask me!!
