I remember buying Dubliners tape back on 1995, and listening to it every day. Sounds like MY Youth, still know all this song's by heart, and I grew up in a suberb of St Petersburg, Russia. Can you imagine how far is that from Ireland? We are one, but we are not the same, as another Irishman sang. True culture has no boundaries, Ireland is forever in my 💖! Thank all of you, for saving your songs and myths and dancing despite all the odds, you really nourish the world with spiritual legacy of our ancestors.

I wonder if the circling each other in opposite directions had anything to do with ancient structures like Stonehenge or the other henges. If we were to watch this dance from the top the dancers form the same concentric patterns.

They are dancing with soft shoes kinda like ballet slippers as well as dancing on the balls of their feet.
