I hadn't thought about this song in decades(I'm 40 now) and I was throwing a St. Paddy's party and was looking for new Irish music and came across this, and it just brought back a memory of my gran singing this in the kitchen, wearing her nightgown and putting away dishes. I must've been 10 and I remember asking her if she was speaking English and she winked and said "kinda pumpkin". Thanks. She would've loved to watch this.
