KEEP HIM, PLEASE! He was/is an EXTREME CASE and he may not stay this way with another family. You are amazing. I did this 2x with severe cases and it was life changing. I remember waiting for my first tale wag it took months both times but it happened :)

Absolutely! They were the lights of my life! I learned more from Layla and Camina than I did from anyone/thing else in this world. Those little girls were my heart. Layla not only was an extreme abuse case but she was also in stage 4 of heart failure and I managed to keep her alive for over 4 years. I miss her every minute of everyday. @@katz734

Fostering can and does lead to adoption of the animal many times and when an animal is this bad off it's a hard dice roll to think they will show this loving side to others. @@e_mar

Homer reminds me of my chinook, Kira. When I first met her, she was fearful and petrified. She whined if we got close. Every week, we gave her food and water and love. And there you have it, in just a month or 2, she's jumping for joy and smiling happily when she sees us. My sweet girl. 💞

My friend had one and for years she would herd his 2 kids until they were about 10. Any time they got stubborn about meals or bed or going to school, it was "Bring 'em, Sally". Funniest thing you ever saw.
