Tgiving is today. And it was delicious. I used to make the entire dinner for up to 3o people. I do my cooking and baking all the day before. I put the turkey in the day of and figure the hours and then reheat everything in time for it all to be done at the same time. To me it was big fun and nowadays I'm down to 2-3 people. I just pare the amounts down accordingly. I'll do the same at Christmas. I wish everyone a beautiful day.

When i did holiday meals (feeding 40-50), I made a list with times and days to prep/make. I started 3 days prior with prep work. Day of was so easy cause everything was prepped and ready to pop in the oven or put on serving trays. My deviled egg mix was done day of, as well as my noodles, and of course mashed potatoes (sweet potato casserole was prepared day before). Even my stuffing, all I had to do was add liquids.

I know used to live close by them by by boulder. My daughter lives north of Greeley. We used to go to see the elk up your way. Enjoy your Thanksgiving this year. I’m watching you from Oregon. Thank you very much. I hope you’re full of joy now because the with the information that I got January 12, 2020 came true anyway I’ve been excited for the past four years because of what was told to me anyway it was called overthrow and I’m sure you’ve heard of it it’s in Ephesians when you read that I typically like the TPT for how to college for people that are just getting involved, but I have many different translations. May the joy of the Lord fill you I was living at the coast in Oregon at Gold Beach, and I was overlooking The rogue River about 3 miles from the ocean. At that time I was probably 25 and I was talking and pretending I was recording and I was making bread and my viewers could see how beautiful the rogue river was. That was in Wright said finance 25 now that’s been mini mini years ago, 1981 couple days for me

Italian bread has 6 cups of flour and less salt, and we let it rise longer, which makes it lighter, if you think you need more flour add only 1 cup more, but not 8. That will make it heavy, I applaud your doing this the night before. It takes me 2 days for the bread alone, and a lot longer for everything else.

😂😂😂 your whole “should I cook it today or tomorrow?” Segment had me rolling 😂😂😂 Thanks for sharing your recipes Angela! I really enjoy your cooking/preserving videos! Do you find that at the bottom of your glass jar of fried onions there is a bunch of grease? I’ve never kept my onions in a jar until recently and when I pulled them out of the pantry for thanksgiving I noticed the bottom of the jar had a bunch of grease sitting in it! I poured them out and patted it off and put a clean folded paper towel at the bottom so hopefully that doesn’t happen again. Love from south TX 🙏🏻
@rockymountainhomesteadangela Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much!! Your comments make me smile. You've been here since the beginning, and I appreciate that so much! I never checked until now. @@rockymountainhomesteadangela Also! I was going to say, next time you make your sweet potato casserole, try replacing your sugar with honey. It’s a ratio of 3/4 cup honey for every 1 cup sugar. It adds such a wonderful taste to your sweet potatoes! We went to a neighbors house for Thanksgiving and I asked for her recipe because the sweet potatoes were the best I ever had! I thought it was going to be some random ingredient but all it was, was honey instead of sugar!

You could even start TWO days in advance with all you have to do. Are you like me and want most all of your meal very fresh so you won’t freeze any of your Thanksgiving meal? I’ve been talking to women that I trust and they tell me that they freeze their dressing the week before thanksgiving and it tastes even better than fresh. I’m not sure how stuffing does in the freezer. I’m sure you know. I’ve decided this year I’m freezing my dressing and most likely a few sides. I need things to be easier on myself.
