Very nice looking rod I have never tried to do a guide wrap like that on a casting rod I can see the benefits of having the guide at the tip 180. Cool ty🐟🎣🤙

You spine it the same way as a regular build

Yes, exactly. We’ve built a few like that. It was originally done on heavier salt rods from what I understand and the idea made its way to light salt and freshwater rods.

That’s nice work. I’ve been wanting to order some microwave guides no one seems to know much or use them. I like the idea and run braid on so many near shore reels. If anyone has used them are they superior to the norm?

I can honestly say they are definitely superior. If you google American Tackle MicroWave Guides you’ll find lots of anglers with great experiences with them. You get further casts, more accuracy and less effort in casting. I’ve personally experienced all of these with these guides
