The NHRA should have allowed the Dodge Colt to compete in Pro Stock. It's a shame that while the Vegas and the Pintos thrived during that time, Chrysler was forced into exile and had no platform in which to develop a small block motor like the 340/360 for Pro stock racing.

I remember my father running pro stock back then with Camaros on the West Coast and yes these calls were pretty bad with the weight break

I had 72 Dodge Colt but not like that. Engine Sounds Good Throttle Response and Launch is Wickedly Fast. FN AA I read not to long ago one of Reason they Band Dodge Colt from NHRA 30-40 years ago because Wheelbase was to Short causing them to be Unstable But didn't see that in this set up
