I've got "Forever Young" on a 45. My mom played it on a daily basis when it first came out. It was the year I graduated high school and it was like her telling me everything she couldn't find words for. Would give anything to hear her play it for me one more time.

Hi India, This is a song about football aka Soccer and Celtic United football team. Rod Loves his football. Rod is (hopefully) playing here in Australia in about October or November this year and I hope to be at his concert at the vineyards in the Hunter Valley. I saw him live at Wembley in the 1980s and he was great. He has So many songs that there us something to please everyone. ❤🇦🇺🦘

I met my partner at a bar, I’d never been out much, and I came to play pool, and maybe meet someone for friendship etc, coming out is a tough thing to do after a divorce, kids, and finally I became me who I knew I was all along. I took a stand beside the juke box, and this song had just started to play, people were starting to slow down on the dance floor, I turned the corner and I saw him, and I thought no he’s not going to talk to me, and about the third line into the song, he walked over and asked if he could buy me a drink, and I thought to myself I’m not sure what he sees in me, I saw a lot in him back then, excited to just talk, we went and sat down, and well that’s been 30 years ago and we are still together -nothing will change we’ve felt the same all these years later and I’m still excited as I was the day we met--never give up on love, take the chance, as I could have opted to say no that’s okay out of fear of rejection but I didn’t and the rest is history-
