YESS! I went to the Holocaust museum on my birthday one year, Oh it was so sad, I have a child and it was so sad like the shoes, the shoes room that was enough for me. So impactful. I have my card and my mother's and my step father's that I kept!

Glad you enjoyed DC! There's so much more to see next time you visit - the Spy Museum, the Holocaust is heavy but a must see, American Indian, African American is phenomenal, and just outside is the larger Air and Space Museum which is really great. Plus Mt. Vernon is near by, and visiting Georgetown and shopping around.

You hit some of my favorite places in DC. Hope you get to go see the Holocaust museum...it is another favorite. Words can't come close to explaining the experience. There is a section especially geared for kids that tell of a boy named Daniel's story.
