Hi all! So I'm still on the 1 video a week summer schedule, but this is a bonus video since I know it won't be for everyone. Definitely not a traditional ASMR video, but more of an on-screen test that might be interesting to other creators to see (definitely not a how-to though!) and maybe nice ASMR background for those who don't care about the behind the scenes, making of sort of stuff... Anyway, hope you enjoy and if it's not for you, there's an up-close, in-your-face, hand sounds video almost done for Thursday. Hope you're all well!

I think you made the right choice. The yetis are the tried and true microphone imo but it is nice to have the ability to have options. I'll be here to watch either way!

6 and 7 were both good. Impressive how little white noise there was. I’ve always thought the NT1s had the best sound quality. They’re my no.1. 3DIO takes 2nd.

Yes! That is why I wanted them! So quite! I hate having to do noise reduction on the Blue Yeti - the sounds always sound better before the reduction, but I don't like white noise, so I was always so torn! There's definitely a learning curve!!

It's weird, when I was editing, I was thinking the same! I feel like the original mic, the Blue Yeti, sounded better in this video than it had before. I'm not sure what I did differently to make it sound so good though! 😆

I've thought about it, but I don't have time right now to create anything extra for it, like Patreon exclusive videos. I could make early access for videos, but at the moment, I've only been finishing them like a day early anyway. If I can figure out an actual benefit for people to join a Patreon, I might one day. But right now, I just don't know what I'd offer that would be worth it. I did just set up a PayPal as someone else requested for people who want to donate. But I think that'll be it for the moment until I can start creating more.
