I love Rode. At the same time, hollyland lark m2 has an option to get all ports included in on affordable package, the usb-c has an additional port for charging, and the camera receiver has an analog and a usb-c port.
@ThinkMediaTVАй бұрын
Yeah true. I guess some people truly only need a USB-C or Lighting option though.

Every mic should be as simple as this one. Great product and great review :)

Just got these a week ago and its important to mention that they also connect directly to Rode Connect Software on your computer, and connect to Rode Central. Just plug an play using USB-C

Love Rode's sound But so far nothing beats Lark M2 when it comes to both size and sound quality. Rode needs to make them a little smaller

@@Rufio1975 that's just cheap skate creators. they get equipment for shoots, travel and shows and just return it. it's a common thing with creators. it's also a common thing with video people. they get a gig, use the kit, and send it back. half the fashion bloggers do similar things. and you don't think all those creators ACTUALLY own all those fast cars.

if your running sound separately then yes, of course. you just use the phone as the sound storage device. But if you mean on-camera sound, then no - as far as I understand. You'll need to go to the next level up. I use old rodes that plug into my Canon - and the rig works perfectly

I have been watching reviews looking to get a microphone just to note the lark m2 is $110 USD for the combo version and $90 for individual lightning or usb-C for black Friday. I am so on the fence about either one I may just purchase both. If I had one I am leaning lark because of the $90 price point. Great review
@stephan85Ай бұрын
do you need both mic`s for stereo?

I wonder if you guys can assist with tricky question. When you do a Tiktok live you can do it with other creators. So lets go for 2 people chatting. So if you are live on phone and plug in a USB microphone your automatically loose audio because phone thinks its headphones. What setup can improve tiktok live sound while still hearing other peoples audio.

As I have a noisy studio environment, the noise canceling capability is important... Any impressions about this for this microphone? What about latency? I have been thinking about an upgrade and this might be a good choice... If it's 150 $ or €, I can handle that...
@FaviMartiАй бұрын
I like rode and have their original wireless mic from years ago and the shotgun pro mic (don’t remember what it’s called). That said I like the quality of the sound out of my neewer lav mics that I paid 90 bucks for. I do like the case on these. If I needed a second set of two lav mics I might do this, but for my phone I’d be interested in a Dji mic 2 before this. It’s 99 dollars for a transmitter, but connects to your phone via Bluetooth. Not a bad product overall, but I don’t really see any advantage to having it over the neewer.

One massive difference between this and the Hollyland M2, which few reviewers seem to pick up on, is that the latter doesnt do 2-channel audio to the USB C or Lightning adaptors, which is a potential issue (you can only do it through the analog socket on their camera adaptor). (I have an M2 system, as well as a pair of Rode Wireless Go 2s)) The Wireless Micro lets you split those channels
