This is probably the slimmest microphone I’ve seen yet. I did like gore it doesn’t interrupt it go being the thickness of the phone, making it look like it’s much easier to manage and use with just an iPhone!

There is a smaller one by neewer that does this at well. It's a small button lav. The hollyland will do this as well into a phone or DJI camera. The neewer is 25 bucks cheaper too. Just FYI stay awesome!

I've seen the Hollyland one! Love to see healthy competition in the marketplace. Thanks!

Great video! Does it work natively with rode streamer x?
@austinbrady13 күн бұрын
I'm not sure about that. Does the Rode Streamer X have an app it can connect to with your phone?
@krzysiek520912 күн бұрын
It supports other rode wireless mics natively. I have other mics connected to streamer x but I would like to have a easy way to switch to wireless mic when I go away from the desk. I would like to use streamer x mainly as it has dsp.
@austinbrady12 күн бұрын
@@krzysiek5209 that makes sense. I don't think it has a Bluetooth connection which other Rode TX's have so I'm wondering if that's what it is.

How is the sound quality compared to the Hollyland Mark 2? I have used the Mark 2 and the sound in that one is certainly crisp, clear with little bass which sounds amazing in a studio or indoor recording! Also Rode is selling these units separately, which means if we want to use these for older iphone or other phones like samsung, we need to purchase separate units and this is where Hollyland wins BIG! And this is a serious concern for creators. Having said that, I am a fan of Rode and did not like the plastic yellow buttons on the Hollyland M2.

@austinbrady12 күн бұрын
I have access to some. Should I do a comparison video?
@Ozpeter11 күн бұрын
Chief difference is that this a stereo device, and the Lark is not - dealbreaker for me anyway.

The Rode Wireless Micro? It's much smaller and lighter than the DJI Mic 2 lol.
