The Rode lav II has a pretty low max SPL so if you are recording a variety of people or a dynamic environment I recommend upgrading the Sennheiser ME-2 which will hold up to virtually any of your recording needs. 32-BIT float is virtually worthless when your mic is clipping at its max SPL before it even hits the recorder due to high sound pressure from a quiet voice suddenly getting loud as an example.

@@MrTechTok THANK YOU for the amazing reviews, all of them are great!! (I first found the above link and then this video on just the Rode). I already have 2 Rode lavaliers, and am on the fence between the Hollyland Max... The idea is to use the mics for travel (lightweight = nice) / vlogging and as a plug-in-mic for online events / Zoom calls on the laptop (Not even sure this can be done at all?) Which one would you recommend for this? Thanks again!!!
